Usually not on its own. Grid-tied systems are designed to shut down during an outage unless compatible backup equipment and controls are installed.
How long will a battery run my home?
It depends on your energy use, battery size, weather, configuration, and which loads are backed up. Any estimate we provide is educational until a site design is completed.
Can a battery be added to my existing system?
Sometimes. It depends on your inverter model, panel capacity, wiring, and utility rules. A compatibility review is required.
Do you charge for an assessment?
Yes. The $129 assessment deposit is nonrefundable and is credited toward the cost of approved services you purchase from NolaSolars.com.
